FAQ

PER PERSON PRICE
This includes the meal along with either premium plastic or heavy-dutypaper disposables, depending on the selected menu.
China service may be available for an additional per-person surcharge;please contact our office to check if your date can accommodate a ChinaEvent.
When two entrees are selected, 75% of each will be invoiced and provided to ensure sufficient volume.
(Sides, Beverage, and Dessert will be invoiced separately)

EVENT STAFFING
This fee covers our service staff who will come to manage the event. Their responsibilities include bringing all necessary serving pieces, setting upthe buffet, replenishing food and beverage, clearing guest tables, andperforming general cleanup. Pricing for staffing varies based on the menu,timeline, venue, level of service, and guest count, and is subject to change as event details evolve.

SALES TAX
An 8.45% sales tax will be applied to all fees and events,
unless a Government Issued Tax Exempt form is provided by the client.
​
MANDATORY GRATUITY PAYMENT
A mandatory gratuity ranging from 15% to 25% will be added to the invoice for all events.
​
FUEL AND TRAVEL FEE
For any event located outside of Provo/Orem area,
a fuel and travel fee will apply.
​This fee depends on the distance traveled, and the number of vehiclesrequired for our team. This fee starts at $30.00.
LEVEL OF SERVICES THAT WE PROVIDE
Buffet service with paper disposables, Buffet service with plastic disposables, Buffet service with china place settings, Pick Up.

Typically, we do not provide served meals or Deliveries.
However, we may be able to make an exception, depending on availability.

DO WE OFFER TASTINGS
We offer up to 2 complimentary meals at our restaurant, Molly's, which islocated in Provo, Utah. Molly's is open Wednesday - Friday, 11:00 am -3:00 pmand offers roughly 10% of the items on our Dinner buffet menu.
Custom tastings can be arranged for $300.00 and must be scheduled twoweeks in advance. A custom tasting allows the choice of 3 savory and
3 sweet menu options.

IS THERE A MINIMUM THAT MUST BE MET
Each menu states the minimum servings for that specific menu however, On specific dates (during March -December), we require a minimum in foodand beverage costs which must be met and maintained, apart from anyother additional fees. These minimums will be between $1700.00 - $4000.00 and are
based on type of event, time frame, and date.

INITIAL PROPOSALS
The initial proposal provided by Marvellous Catering is based on preliminaryinformation and should not be regarded as final pricing. Any alterations in guest count, menu selection, venue, time frame, level of service, or event date may result in increased pricing.

Marvellous Catering will offer up to three proposals for each event. Additional proposals can be requested for a fee of $25.00 per request.

BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
A signed Terms of Service and a deposit of 25% of the proposed invoice is required to book an event. Until both requirements are metMarvellous Catering can not guarantee availability of the date.

Level of service (i.e...china vs plastic disposable) can not be changed after deposit is made.
VERBAL CONFIRMATION
A verbal confirmation is required 3 weeks prior to the event, unless an alternate date has been discussed and approved by Marvellous Catering. Event details, including final menu and guest count, must be solidified at that time. During the Final Verbal Confirmation, Changes to Event Time frames, Date, Level of Service, and Venue will not be permitted.
BUFFET LINEN AND TABLES
For wedding events (including receptions, lunches, dinners, and stations) Marvellous Catering will provide buffet linens at $19.00 per linen unless arrangements for floor length linens have been made by the Venue or Wedding Planner prior to or at time of final verbal confirmation. Buffet table rental is also available at $5.00 per table, if requested during final verbal confirmation. FINAL PAYMENT Invoice balance is to be paid in full 24 hours prior to event, We can accept Cash, Check, and all major credit cards, EXCEPT AMEX. We will never request an ACH payment by email.
