Marvellous Catering Pricing & Policies
Per Person Price: Includes the meal, and either clear plastic or heavy-duty paper disposables, depending on menu. China service is available for an additional charge.
Delivery & Staffing Service: This charge provides for our service staff to come and maintain your event. This includes bringing all of the serving pieces, setting up the buffet, replenishing food/drinks, busing tables, and general clean up.
This pricing is dependent on menu, timeline, venue, and guest count, and is subject to change as event details change.
Utah Prepared Food Sales Tax: An 8.25% tax is applied to the per person price and the on-site service price.
Gratuity: With most events, a gratuity is optional; however it is greatly appreciated by our amazing staff!
Gratuity Payment Options:
When paid with invoice balance: A suggested 15%-20% of the subtotal, which is tip-shared with all Marvellous Catering departments, including On-site service staff.
When paid with cash at the event: A suggested $30.00 - $100.00 for each member of service staff.
Mandatory Gratuity Payment: China events, large group events, and certain venues will have a mandatory 18%-20% gratuity added to the invoice.
Booking Requirements: A signed Terms of Service and a deposit of 25% of proposed invoice is required to book an event.
Initial Proposals: Initial proposals given by Marvellous Catering Staff are based on initial information given and are not considered final pricing. Any changes in guest count, menu, venue, time frame or date may increase pricing. Marvellous Catering will provide up to three proposals per event. Additional proposals are available for a fee of $25.00 per request.
Verbal Confirmation: A verbal confirmation is required for all events 10-12 business days prior to the event. Final menu, guest count, and event details are solidified at that time.
Buffet Linen and Tables: For wedding events (including receptions, buffet dinners, and station tables) client is to provide appropriate floor length linens. Marvellous Catering can provide linens at $13.50 per linen, We can also provide tables for the buffets at $5.00 per table, if requested by final confirmation.
Final Payment: Invoice balance is to be paid in full 24 hours prior to event.
We can accept all major cards, except AMEX.
Please Note: as of 6/13/22 all chicken entrees will be $1.00 more than the current price listed on our menus due to market price increases.
